Session frequency depends on your child’s goals and the areas in which they need support. Most clients are seen on a weekly basis, however, children with apraxia typically require more intensive therapy.

Initial consultations are booked for one hour, however, assessment may take place over multiple sessions.
Subsequent consultations are scheduled for 45 minutes or 30 minutes depending on your child’s needs.
Sessions are billed according to the NDIS price guide, with time allocated to face-to-face services and indirect services including note writing, preparation of resources and administration.

Reports can be written for your personal records or for other professionals involved in your child’s care, such as teachers, allied health clinicians, and paediatricians.
The cost for a report is in line with the NDIS price guidelines, with price varying according to the number of assessments completed.

The time required for therapy depends on your child’s diagnosis and session frequency. Some children, such as those working on speech sound errors, may only need therapy for a few months. Other children, such as those with childhood apraxia of speech, may require therapy over a longer time period.

If you need to cancel your appointment, we ask that you provide notice via email or text 24 hours prior to the appointment and no cancellation fee will be charged. Your advanced notice allows us to offer your appointment time to other clients.
A cancellation fee of 100% of the service fee is charged if a cancellation occurs within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment.
